Question:

What is "Too much information?"

Recently I have come across conversations with friends and family alike, that "Things aren't quite like they used to be." Alot of them said it had to do with the internet, and some more have said it had to do with recent events like the War in Iraq and the 9/11 tragedy. When they mentioned that I thought of all the access we have to "...what used to be" like History, I'm assuming, but things like the internet just prove to us there are vastly different interpretations of very pivotal events of our time. Is the term 'too much information' meaning that what used to be really wasn't or what used to be is what is should be?

  1. information overload. you just need a bucket of water, google returned you with an ocean

that is why you need to use a specific keyword and proper screening when researching, in order to get information you REALLY need

  2. i don't see the net as "too much info."

sometimes it is too much data and i would like a good editor.
