Hi, I want to get a tattoo and I want to make sure its spelled properly. I would like to know what "truth and honesty" is in modern Greek with the greek symbols and how you write/pronounce it in normal alphabet. Can you maybe write it the first letters with and without capital so i can see which one i like better? Thank you so much!

xx.

  1. ΑΛΗΘΕΙΑ ΚΑΙ ΤΙΜΙΟΤΗΤΑ

    αληθεια και τιμιοτητα

  2. 'τιμιότητα' is what characterizes  you when you go according to the law / morality and respect society's values or rules of a certain agreement etc.

'ειλικρίνεια' is what you have when you are honest, true, genuine and direct, you don't bend the truth, you don't tell lies and you're not a hypocrit.

I guess what you mean by honesty is that you tell the truth, so maybe instead of "τιμιότητα", "ειλικρίνεια" sounds better.

Therefore, this sounds more correct to me:

    "αλήθεια και ειλικρίνεια"

    "ΑΛΗΘΕΙΑ ΚΑΙ ΕΙΛΙΚΡΙΝΕΙΑ"

(al-ee-thia ke ilikr-ee-nia) (ee as in weed)

  3. "Truth and Honesty" = "αλήθεια και τιμιότητα", "ΑΛΗΘΕΙΑ ΚΑΙ ΤΙΜΙΟΤΗΤΑ"

It is pronounced: aLEEthia (th like theatre) ke teemeeOteeta

  4. truth means who saying like real story.

honesty its who s strightforward person.
