  2. If you mean to complain is a gift. Look at countries where people dare not complain and you will realise what a gift it is to have the freedom to complain.

    Or if you are saying a complaint is a gift. Then imagine if you only ever received praise, you would never know how to improve your business or yourself. By accepting a complaint you can act on it and correct things. so the complaint is a good thing, a gift.

    So basically "a complain is a gift" means that the one who is criticizing you actually tells you what can be improved on. Which means he wants what's good for you, which is a gift indeed.
