What is "cached" specifically files and sites?

i notice this term when i use a search engine some sites are cached while others are not. which one should i go to and why?

    Hello

    Cache=storage.

    On search engines some site owners ask that their sites not be cached. And sites that are not yet indexed are not yet cached.

    During a search for current information you would not choose cache, that could be outdated. But if you had trouble accessing a site or it requires registration and you don't want to comply cache is your choice.

    On your computer cache allows faster loading when you return to websites, dedicating a certain amount of hard drive space.  Another example, some dial-up ISPs use cache for faster loading and call it an accelerator.
