What is "clean natural gas"?

No idea, gas is gas.

It probably refers to the machine burning it.  They can be clean or dirty depending on how they are built.

Anyhoo, when someone refers to natural gas as "clean", they're probably comparing it to other fossil fuels like coal or oil, in which case natural gas is relatively clean.  Burning nat gas emits about 1/3 the CO2 of oil, and about 1/6 that of coal, so in that respect it is clean.

"Clean natural gas" is methane, what you cook with and heats your house, usually, especially if you live in the western part of the U.S. It also can be used to run cars. I have 2 cars that run on natural gas, and I love them! They run much cleaner than cars that run on gasoline, and it's much cheaper, too - only 64 CENTS per gallon here in Utah! Ford made them back in the late 1990's and through about 2004. I wish they made more of them, but they're getting hard to find now. It's called "clean" because it's a lot better for the environment than gasoline - it burns cleaner in the engine, so the engine lasts a lot longer. Hope that helps answer your question!   :)

Oxygen is a clean natural gas.  

If you can run your car with hydrogen gas in you car's engine, the exhaust is water vapor that is still a clean natural gas.

when oxidised, the only thing coming from the exhaust is water and carbon di-oxide, nothing else, no sulfur or nitrogen oxides to form acid rain, or smog in the outer atmosphere, is a very different approach from using petroleum, and cng ( compressed natural gas) only needs to have the oil changed once in 50,000 miles not every 3,000, there are other benefits as well
