What is "diesel fitter"?

I really dont know!

As a non english speaker, ( well , i speak a little bit) i would like to find out what is exactly the diesel fitter position. Ive seen everywhere they ar looking for diesel fitter asap, but i dont know what it is. That would be awesome if one of you could tell me where can i learn that "profession". I mean what kind of school does training in this topic. I hope i hear from you.

And sorry for the stupid question, i assume this is not challenge for those whos first language is English.

Usually just means a diesel mechanic , or person who can perform suitable works on these motors
