Crustacean

hides

Peaks out

Retreats

Peaks again

Sees safety

Scuttles slowly

Two rocks more

this time

Waves to a

Passing sea turtle

Retreats

Rearranges reed cave

Settles to sleep

Day well spent

Adventures swirl

In dreams

Try again…

…tomorrow

  1. And I thought you were going to use a skunk as a metaphor...lol  This must be a 'generic' crustacean, as there is so many. lol   Kidding aside, a fun read that has meaning.  Nice.

  2. Was that a question or a poem? The picture you created looks cute, though (a crustacean waving as he passed a turtle).

Anyway, what's out there that stops us? It's fear. Man is scared of things where he is not sure if the outcome will favor him.

  3. Peeks out...peeks again. You make me wish to be a crustacean; it would all be so simple.

  4. Crabs, eh? Get an ointment from your pharmacy.

  5. An interesting list of images. We are the ones who determine pursuit of our goals and fulfillment of our potential. It takes courage and determination. If we hide or turn away every time we meet an obstacle, we will never succeed. It is no accident that sports analogies are used as metaphors for success. The World Olympics provides perfect metaphors for how to succeed in difficult situations.

  6. lol at lano!
