What is "shipped"?

I am buying some stuff on gamestop, i have paid and such.. but the it says on the status of the items: Open, does this mean its unpaid or something, because when i click on the open button, it says Open means its not shipped.. what is Shipped?? sorry for my bad english.. :(

shipped means in delivery. it is on it's way

open means it is in the process of being packaged to be shipped but has not shipped out yet

and

shipped means it is in the process of coming to you.
