  1. Standard Turbo controllers for the Xbox 360 are modded Microsoft controllers which allow the controller to shoot any semi-automatic faster than you can humanly shoot it yourself. The right trigger, sometimes the left trigger, is modded to let you hold the trigger and fire a semi auto as fast as possible. An average person can probably shoot it at about 4-6 shots per second. These controllers let you it at the games max capability, usually between 15-20 shots per second.

You can watch some videos of them on youtube. Here is a decent example of one that I found. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BP020g2kw...

It is not allowed on Xbox Live. However, it is impossible to be caught using a turbo controller for several reasons:

    1. The game allows you to shoot that fast.

    2. There is no way for them to actually know whether you are using a turbo controller unless they see the mod on your controller. Xbox live can NOT detect the modded controller, it can only detect a modded 360 itself. So unless you take pictures of your controller and show them to xbox live employees, there is no way they can ban or in any way accuse you of cheating.

With this being said, the controllers are allowed in leagues such as gamebattles and other gaming sites because there is no way to prove you are using a turbo controller. An opposing team can say you're cheating with turbo controllers but unless they have a picture of your controller, they can't do anything.

Lastly, turbo controllers can not be purchased from the stores since they are modded controllers. However, you can buy turbo controllers from amazon.com or ebay.com. The price for a good modded controller (between 15-20 sps) is 100-140$ depending if it's new or used.

  2. It's a modification to your controller.

I allows you to shoot incredibly fast.

    Like, SUPER FAST.

As far as I know, it's allowed.

  3. if you play rainbow six Vegas 2 or COD4 it makes all single actions carried out with a trigger repetitive ex. if you use a g3 in COD4 it is now automatic

and there is no way too detect it on xbox live so technically it is legal
