  1. Hmmm, a giant rain cloud! That's what's been covering Ireland for the past 2 months so it would be a fitting symbol for a poster! On a serious note- stay away from anything too cheesy like a leprechaun or shamrock. I would suggest a nice celtic cross, a picture of a lush green landscape or a cozy pub with a fireplace.

  2. Like Buglet said, the harp.  It's the national symbol.

  3. Waterford Crystal, well I would say that as I live in Waterford.

  4. The harp is the national symbol.

Other things are horse-racing, hurling (the sport), the Cliffs of Moher, Newgrange, and you could also add a contemporary twist by adding a view of the Dublin Spire.

  5. The celtic cross

  6. guisness, lepricorns, clover, celtic cross

  7. Eh..enlightenment - Bombings???Racism??(I cant remember any racism????!!- Yeah, get with the times...cause they have changed big time!!!!

Our GAA Symbol- It is a symbol of our national games, hurling and Gaelic football. Currachs - small boats that were used to sail out to islands surrounding ireland. The irish language - cupla focal wouldnt go astray. The harp.

  8. 3 leaf clover, guinness, hurleys, lephercuans, irishstew, kerry blue dogs.

    guinness on a poster

  9. Celtic artwork, Newgrange, Clonamacnoise, GPO.

  10. The Giants Causeway

  11. Leprechauns, and 3 leaf clovers! ;) AND GUINNESS!

  12. You mean by Irish of course southern Ireland as Northern reland is British by choice. I have noi idea as I live in North so know litt;e about Irish things. Maybe IRA is one example that we know best-bombings etc.

  13. The brown envelope.

  14. A pint of Guinness, a glass of Power's, a betting slip, a picture of the great Aidan O' Brien, a Cork GAA jersey, a hurley stick and a photograph of Grainne Seoige in a bikini.

  15. leprecauns, guinness, struggles, depression - like in Angela's Ashes, depressive lyrics as in Irish folk music, bombings, racism, on TV adverts it's shown to have lots of countryside and greenery, navvies, builders, potatoes, Irish stew, peat bogs, historical interest
