What is really going on in Georgia and Russia?

Rather than reading the news, (which is confusing sometimes)...can someone explain to me why all the fighting?

Basically it is a claim on a piece of land, that Georgians say it is theirs' while Russia keeps on saying that the land is her's.

But apart from Georgia and Russia,  I am starting to worry on Russia's behaviour..lately it is getting involved in too many conflicts. Russia is no longer bankrupt with all the gas and oil that it has, it is now for Russia to rise again into power...

not to scare anyone..but now there seems to be another conflict between Russia and Poland..russia is threatening a nuclear assault on Poland because Poland are going to have nukes to help the US in the anti missile program.

Russia is wary of Poland?  So I ask why does Russia fear Poland and at the same time Russia has not expressed any concern with the armaments that Iran is building, and in China as well... Isn't this pure politics which are taking the world back to the 1970'2 era of the cold war between the US and Russia.

I am not from the US, I am from a small island in europe, so I am not biaised in my judgement, whilst the US can be boring always resorting to war at least US always predict their actions...with Russia I so fear that the news will be broadcasted after russians would have acted...which will be too late....RUSSIA...you do have nice women..you do have wealth...but sorry I don't trust you at all!!

I don't know too much but I heard that in Georgia there is an independent country forming and was refusing to something by Russia. So Russia is going in there now and s******g things up.

It's beginning to look more and more like the USA stirred this up on behalf of the Zionists of Israel.
