What is really the difference between light n hard cigarettes?? N an opinion on menthols?

I've never heard of a "hard" cigarette:)  Light means lower in tar & nicotine.  Personally, I will ONLY smoke menthols, but then again, I'll ONLY smoke Virginia Superslims too (the menthol is stronger, and they're much smaller than other cigarettes).   But, when people ask to "bum a cigarette," and I say it's menthol, alot of people say :  "Oh, never mind:)"

Lights and ultra lights have holes in the filter to allow you to pull in more air with the smoke.  It basically dilutes the smoke before you inhale it.  That's why some people say that they don't have any flavor or taste.

These vent holes are also what are supposed to reduce the nicotine and tar levels.  But it's easy to cover these holes with your fingers or your mouth and basically be smoking a "hard" or "full flavor" cigarette.

Light cigarettes have less tar and nicotine. There is no such thing as "hard" cigarettes.

Personally, I prefer light menthols. Have you ever tried a VS Menthol Light? Delicious.

i have never heard of a "hard" cigarette, but ones being stronger, such as marlboro reds, or newports. Light cigarettes reallly don't have too much of a taste to them, in my opinion, and menthols have almost a slight minty taste ( but not like toothpaste or anything) but there are different types of menthols as well, that offer different flavors. i'm a fan of marlboro milds because the menthol isn't too strong, it's just right. BUT smoking is a disgusting habit anyways...and i should quit..and by the look of your question you should never start.

All cigarettes are gross and disgusting.  What a filthy, dirty

habit!  Don't start it!
