  1. The Pope

  2. Spanish Steps.  Colliseum.  Vatican City/Basilica.  Pizza Hut.  Bertucci's.  McDonald's.

  3. the pope at st peters  what a wonderful  place to visit, and you will feel so much better for it.

  4. The Vatican ( the Sistine chapel), The Steps and Church of Trinita dei Monti, The Spanish Steps, The Colosseum, The church of Santa Maria in Aracoeli, The Capitoline Picture Gallery, The Fountain of Trevi. Loads to do and see....all filled with history.

  5. The pope in the vatican,I think there are loads of steps somewhere too that are famous.Hang on to your handbag though,my mum had hers nicked.

  6. No doubt practically everything. Depends what you're there for. I'm an artist so it'd be like a visual gourmet feast. So I'd probably treat it like, not just the things you see, but what actually happened here, as well as the light of the sun and the moon at different times of the day and how it plays on what you see and brings to memory.

  7. The Vatican museum, the fountains, the Pantheon, the Spanish steps, the Coliseum, etc., etc.

  8. Lazio or AS Roma.

  9. The great monuments thats existed a million years ago

  10. The Colosseum

    The Trevi Fountain

    The Pantheon

    La Bocca della Verita

    St. Peter's Square

    The Spanish Steps

    The Sistine Chapel

The view from St. Peter's Dome

    The Vittorio Emanuele Monument

    The Roman Forum

  11. the trevi fountain (dont forget to throw a coin in there!); piazza di spagna; the colosseum; the vatican museums; saint peters place; the panteon is absolutely wonderful, veneto street (if u like shopping); churches, the sistina chapel; navona's place; the gianicolo, the david by michelangelo; the pietà by michelangelo (absolutely wonderful). Rome is my favorite italian city (im italian) because of the art you "smell" wherever you go and because of the people (very passionate).

    Have a nice trip!

  12. Rome ......are you kidding? The whole place is full of history.

Read up before you go and the visit and take it all in.

  13. There are so many great things to see in Rome but if I could only pick 3 it would be...

The Sistine chapel in The Vatican- must see, the art is amazing

The Spanish Steps- the view from the top is fantasic and it's near some great shops!

The Coliseum- speaks for itself, a piece of history

  14. Simply everything... I will get speechless in front of the beauty of this old and characteristic town, morning and night it's always a great discovery :)

  15. Everything!!!!!!!!!!! I went for Easter bank holiday and loved every minute of it.....  I loved The Forum, it was huge and you could almost close your eyes and imagine what it was like when it was in use.  See the Coleseum, The Cistine Chapel (although the queue's are a pain - book a guided toor and slip off the minute you get into the Vatican Museum. Go to Circus Maximus as it's so less crowded than anywhere else!  Wave to the Pope from the Square, go for a walk along the river, go to the Trevi Fountain (although I was disappointed with it, a visit to Rome wouldn't be the same..)  Visit the Pantheon and wonder at the architechture......  Alternatively just walk and everywhere you turn you will find something amazing to look at!

  16. the land mark from the 1500,s

  17. Everything is worth seeing in Rome! Its fantastic and if you are not into the cultural aspects of the city then the shopping, food and drink should keep you happy! I have been to Rome many times and still find new things to see, it really is a beautiful city

  18. The Ruins - Colesseum, etc.

The Vatican - Sistine Chapel & museum

    Spanish Steps & Trevi Fountain

  19. There is so much to see it Rome it would take at least a month to do it. I have been there twice for a total of 10 days and I would go back again.  Top stuff that I've seen --- Forums, Colloseum, St. Peters and Vatican Museum, Capitol and Capitoline Musuem, Catacombs and Apian Way, Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, Bernini Scupltures in a bunch of different Churches, Michaelango Architecture and Statues,  Pantheon, Piazza Navonna, Trastevere, Aventine Hill, Palentine Hill, Castell San Angelo, San Clemente, etc. Took a trip outside to Tivoli and Hadrians Villa I could go on....not to mention the cafes and Trattorrias and other plazas.
