Our son is 15 years old and has been in a load of trouble in Public School. Since withdrawing him and working with him we know within the next year he will be ready to graduate. What is needed to go on ahead and provide him with a High School diaploma?

  1. Catie and Glurpy have both given you excellent and accurate advice.

All your son probably needed was to be able to concentrate on his work.  Getting that high school diploma will give him a great sense of accomplishment too.

  2. You simply give him a diploma. In Texas, you are seen as a private school, and private schools issue their own diplomas.

  3. you can call one of the local schools about it, but normally you can make one. i think

  4. If you're looking for Texas rules, they can be found at HSLDA.
