What is required to have a Saltwater Tank?

I just want a basic saltwater fish tank with some coral or something. All I want to know is what needs to be done, maintenance and requirements. 10 points!!

  1. Well this is all I know,I hope it helps!

    Yo need aquarium salt and you need to make sure it is the right amount and put it in your aquarium,Then you need to make sure your fish are tropical or not and you need the right temp.

    And yeah I think your fish tank would be great!


  2. If you want to explore saltwater, you have two options: a reef tank or a marine tank. If you want coral, you would have to have a reef tank set-up; a marine tank is fish only. Saltwater is not recommended for amateurs because it is a lot more complicated than a tropical freshwater setup. The absolute minimum tank size would be 29 gallons, but it would be easier to maintain the ideal water parameters with 55+ gallons.
