well,  they already told  what it is, to do the oposite  of what a person expects from you

I use it all the times it when you say somthing that's reverse or odd that the other person might care about doing or somthing and you make them do it by telling them they can or they can't its really easy

Here's an example:

Lucy hated her boss, but she wanted a raise. So she treated him like a god.

Do you know what I mean? It's like, doing something that's the opposite of what the person feels about him/her.

it's telling somebody to do the opposite of what you want in hopes that they won't listen to you and actually have them do what you want in the end...
