And which is better for driving...

1. In a city environment?

2. On a highway for long distances?

(I think a 550cc ATV can go up to 120 km per hour, so it can be taken on the highway. but I heard they are better for off-road?)

Thanks! :)

  1. ATV is for OFF ROAD. They can be LIC. if your local dmv will. In a city they will not let you ride an atv. A dirt bike is just that unless you have the proper equip. and is lic. for street. In rual areas atv's can be lic. for the county roads but have quite a few limitaions.

Atv's are not made for long Dis. on pavment. The tires will wear off realy fast for they are off road tires.

  2. The motorcycle will be safer and legal.

  3. By ATV I guess you mean what we refer to as a quad. A motorbike is infinitely safer, ATV's/quads are not designed for on-road work, handle badly on tarmac and are often unstable at speed.  All the disadvantages of both cars and bikes, none of the advantages.

  4. i guess in some countries ATVs are banned on the road due to their size and speed. but if its allowed in ur city maybe guys will see u drive to the baker's on that bull. and of course a highway

  5. what is safer to drive in a highway is a motherfuc*ing bicycle or a tricycle and for a city environment would be something like  rollarblades or a snowboard
