I was looking at the North East Sportbike Association website and they were talking about having your bike "wired" for on track riding. What does this mean and what does it do. Also what is a belly pan.

The link to their website is here below

  1. they want you to wire various things to the frame such as brake caliper bolts, axle castle nuts, etc.  Real easy to do, I would recommend a safety wiring tool.  Makes it TONS easier.  This way, if they vibrate loose or heaven forbid you crash it minimizes small parts on the track.

Click on link to see a wiring tool on eBay

  2. With out been funny, if you dont even know what a belly pan is, then you really dont have to worry about lock wiring your sump etc.

He is a simple picture of a lock wiring pinch bolt.

You can see where the wire threads through & then tightens. You reverse it with the next bolt, so they tighten against each other.
