  1. Generally speaking, San Mateo only has two seasons: spring and fall. Winter is cool and mild, with moderate amounts of rain, and daytime temps ranging from 55-65 at average. In summer, there is no rain, but is a tad breezy at times. Daytime highs can be anywhere from 70 to 100.  Nights year round are cool, in the 40's and 50's.

Normally, the warmest month is September, where temperatures are frequently in the 80's and higher, and nights are warmest (low 60's).

  2. Also he forgot to mention every now and then the area gets a monsoon thunderstorm during the summer.

  3. During the winter it's in the mid to upper 50's during the day and lower to mid 40's at nighttime. It can get up into the 70's and it can get as low as the 20's. January is when they receive the most rainfall (4.45in.) During the summer it's in the lower 70's during the day and mid 50's at night. It can get up into the 100's and it can get as low as the mid 40's. This is when they receive the least amount of rainfall (no more than 0.25in.)
