What is security certificate?

When I go into a website like my bank or verizon account it wont let me go in to because of the security certificate has expired or hasnt been activated,it says its their certificate not mine,it just started doing this.anyone know what this means?

In order to secure the connection between you and the bankk, the banks normally issues security certs to ensure all is ok, this is crucial to maintain security during the transportation of information.

If it tells you the banks cert had expired, check with the bank.

Problems with security certificates are usually

resolved by the following.............

Right click the clock....click on adjust time/date

and make sure the Day ...Date...Month....Year

are all correct....also check your in right time zone
