  1. hai frnd,

share means a part of ownership on a company, how many shares u have it decide ur director, chireman etc.........

thr are different  types of tradings which are

    1day trading

    2deliver trading

    3future trading

trading means planing where to invest money

day trading: we shuld buy&sell in a day

deliver trading: we can deposit it for some time untill ur share price hike

future trading: It has time constraint like 1,2.or 3 max months

u shuld buy & sell between the time

i recommend for Freshers to go with future trading because it has so many benfits like margin facility like it gives 50%discount on original cost  on share

  2. A share market is a public trading place where you can purchase equity shares of all listed companies in India.

To enter to share market, as a newbie it is not recommended to start direct equity investment without proper knowledge. In stead, select good and rated equity mutual funds to invest in a systematic way. You can also purchase index funds from MF companies as well as Exchange Traded funds from stock markets using a dmat account. These all give you 100% equity exposure.

read this thread to know about present best mutual funds in India http://in.answers.yahoo.com/question/?qi...

After getting good exposure, start purchasing shares directly by valuating them properly.

does this makes sense to you

  3. The best place to start for freshers is to read a few books on investment management.  We would recommend the following:

    1. Security Analysis by Graham & Dodd

    2. The Intelligent Investor by Bejamin Graham

    3. One up on Wall Street by Peter Lynch

    4. Investment Analysis & Portfolio Management by Prassana Chandra

You may also consider doing a search on amazon.com for further references of books on the subject you must study before engaging the share/stock market.

After which, you would be called upon to develop your very own investment system.  Which you must test for reasonable success through dry runs with pen and paper or through the facility of a stock market simulator.

It is then that you would be able to engage the stock market with any level of success.  However, you must realize that investment is a life long process and you must have your short term and long term objectives in place before you start.

Finally, there is now magic wand that would assure success; further you must tread with caution as on occasion the share/stock market can be a very difficult environment to survive in let alone succeed in.

    Happy investing,
