Question:

What is she in your opinion? (having to put in 2 primary breeds on her dogster page)?

She came to us as a Jack Russell/Chihuahua mix but we know there is something more (before when I had her on dogster I listed her as Jack russell/ Chihuahua and everyone kept saying she is no way a Jack Chi and wouldn't let her talk in the groups because she was too big to be a Jack Chi (well I know one parent was a Jack/Chi) So should I put that again or put what she could be. We think her other parent was a lab or lab mix. What do you think. (Pit bull has already been ruled out so don't even bother saying it)

Here are some pictures. (in the third one she is with our toy poodle)

Now that she is about done growing we think we can start to make an educated guess.

She is 22 pounds.

Should we put the Jack Russell/Chihuahua in since we know she has that for sure or should we add lab or whatever else we think she is?

Its just for a stupid webpage but I want to be accurate.

  1. I definatly see the chihuahua, and a little bit of jack russel...  But then I see something else.  Perhaps a corgi, or daschund... leaning more towards corgi.  Maybe some lab, too.   She definatly has that terrier and chihuahua feel to her, though.

  2. she could also have some corgi in her...they have longer bodies as well but are bigger than a daschund. they have longer faces and big ears like her as well. The only difference is the texture of the hair, corgi's are fluffier but when mixed with other breeds it doesn't mean she has to adopt the fuller hair or tail.

    she's absolutely adorable though.

  3. Id say there is either beagle or corgi in her - she certainly has the body for either of those breeds. Perhaps there is Chi in her, but she seems too big to have Chi in her.

  4. You should be able to put 2 breeds on there! I did for both of my dogs!

One is a Lab/Rottweiler and the other is a Rottweiler/German Shepherd/ Husky. I could only pick 2 breeds for her. But I  talk in lab groups and rottweiler groups.

  5. This is hard one. I had a friend who had Jack Russell Terrier and he was 11kgs. I like to say I am agreeing with your guess as Jack chi

  6. Definitely looks like a Jack Russell/Chihuahua mix dog.  She's a cutie!

  7. She looks like a corgi-lab mix. She doesn't look Jac-chi at all. She would get the small size from the corgi.

  8. She definitely looks like a Lab mix.  Even if she is small, she can be a Lab mix.  I work at Petco and I see it all the time.  Chihuahua/Lab mix or Dachshund/German Shepherd mix - they exist (funny looking as they may be) - no matter what the size.  She's not too small to be a Lab mix and she clearly looks like a small Lab, minus the ears.  She's very cute!

  9. She looks too big to be Jack/chi, I would say a little bit of yellow lab.
