I always just look past it and buy firm.

Do you have to press the water out of it like firm tofu? What dishes/other things do you use it in?

thanks.

  1. Hi, I don't think you have to remove the water..I think it's best to keep it in a seperate container after opening it too maybe..I haven't used it for a while but I did use it in smoothies and it gave a good texture but you can't taste it all you taste is what you throw into smoothie with it...IE:banana,pineapple chunks(frozen but you can thaw)..also frozen but can thaw...blueberries,strawberries&raspberr... ya don't like seeds),frozen mango chunks, plain or your favorite flavored yogurt, milk,OJ ...etc etc...yummy smoothies I say yummy...  : ] but I have never cooked with it....

  2. I found that it has an odd taste just eaten plain, but I only use it for desserts.  It's really good for making pudding and mousse etc.

    Such as these:

They taste great!  Way too sweet for me, but if you just copy the ingredients, there you go, easy recipe for pudding.

  3. I refrigerate it.  Then when I want something cool to eat, I just spoon some  of it into a bowl and pour maple syrup over it & eat like a pudding.

  4. it is good for smoothies and purees not for solid use as much because it falls apart
