What is skiing with no skis?

Just lean back on your heels a bit, keep your knees bent....and don't fall down. When I was I kid we also used to grab onto the back of cars bumpers in the parking lots (use your after ski boots for this) but honestly I don't remember what it's called.

Without skis why would you call it skiing? Wouldn't it be like sliding or shoe skidding or something of the like?

You wouldn't say you went snowboarding without a snowboard.

There is a ski hill near me that has boot ski's. Basically all they are is a regular ski boot with very short ski's attatched directly to them.

i had a pair of mens 13 ski boots that  i p-texed the bottoms and "boot skied" one day . wierd but fun for a change. lifties didn't know what to do.
