What is skill acquisition in relation to running and sprinting?

well sprinting is a closed skill in terms of clases of skill due to the nature of the sport this is as there is no one that is directly effecting the persons path and how the sprinter is sprinting.

for example an open skill (football) is were the person or play is directly being effected by either other players or factors inwhich is not cotrolled by i.e. the player.

where as in a closed skill sport such as 100m sprint the sprinter is uneffectedby opponents and thus just has to run  straight without any interferance.

however in a relay there are many independant variables that can make it in away both open and closed skill as two participants are involved in the baton change over and thus don't have direct control over the situation.
