  1. Slalom in figure skating is making S patterns (or zigzags) with 2 feet together - forward or backwards.  It is very much like slalom in skiing.

I used this example in another question like this:

This guy does it briefly at 1:04.

And another example briefly at 1:18

This is completely different, but with Xtreme skating, they sometimes use cones and do "S" patterns - in different ways.  But same idea anyway.  The zigzag pattern.

    Hope that helps!

  2. Well if its in your program you should know what it is?

Anyway, if you have ever watched ski-ing, thats basically it, you do a two foot glide but move sie to side keeping your legs adn feet togeather. The same applies for going backwards. Make sure you twist your hips and knees, and use your arms.

  3. In skiing, you ski in between flags or poles, which is like skiing in a zig-zag.  the same element is applied to skating.  Instead of skating in a line or curved line, you are forming a zig-zag when you skate slalom.
