What is so bad about Americans having socialized medicine? ?

We have public schools which are socialized and if you don't like it you can go to a private school or be homed school. Our libraries are socialized if one library doesn't have what you're looking for you go to another one. I don't understand why so many people are against socialized medicine. Please explain.

Because politicians are in the pockets of big medicine and big medicine will loose far too much money if we go socialized.

I agree, i think its sad that 75% of the country is under or un insured, and 49% had no insurance at all.  Something needs to be done.  If it works in Canada, europe, and even cuba why cant it work here?  Our government is broken right now, as long a lobbiests are running the show nothing will change.
