its just good sportsmanship dude if you and your team gave it all you had it was a good game then but you have to respect you got beat the greats always know how to lose and know how to show respect to the other team for outplaying you

It's a lack of class. While no one is obligated to congratulate the winning oppostion, to avoid doing so makes one seem cheap, immature, and petty. Keep in mind that teammates will notice that one of their own was acting selfishly which can have repercussions. If they don't, then it really isn't much of a team and that could be one of the reasons why they lost.

Maurice Richard and Billy Smith didn;t find it so bad because often times at the end of playoff series, neither player would join the line.

I see nothing wrong with it. Athletes at all levels make good and bad plays over the course of a game. And as Kimmy said, it's called sportsmanship.

It is called sportsmanship. Something there needs to be a lot more of these days. I know how it feels to lose and lose badly. It sucks, no way around that. But you should still show some respect to the efforts of the other team by congratulating them . It shows class

It's just classy to say "good game" to the other team if they win, and not to come off as being a bad sport.
