if we are talking a couple of days, OK.

If we are talking a month or longer, you run the risk not only of any spermacide breaking down, but the condom breaking down as well

Well yes because the rubber might become less durable and brake or if it is one with spermicide in it, it will not work.

The spermicide only has a limited effectiveness, so if it's expired, the spermicide won't kill the sperm, so if there is any contact, yeah there is more of a risk of pregnancy.
