Question:

What is so darn funny?

It's Monday morning and I am in the mood for some fun questions.

This weekend my 8 month old got to meet my friend's dog for the first time. As the dog was zipping around the room (little white yippee puff ball) my son was belly laughing like you wouldn't believe. Apparently dogs are hysterical! Then all of us laughing at him made him laugh even harder.

So what made your baby crack up recently?

Any funny stories you feel like sharing?

No thumbs down please :-)

  1. We had some friends over last night and their son is the same age as ours.  They were running around playing so we went to check on them and found them in the office.  My 16 month old was sitting in the office chair while the other one was spinning him, both giggling and laughing.

  2. Our 10 1/2 month old son was cuddling in bed with me this morning while my husband got ready for work. My husband went into our bathroom (visible from our bed), left the door open, and started to pee....Ian started bouncing up and down and clapping...I said, "Yay!!! Daddy pees like a big boy in the big boy potty, Ian!" and Ian just started pointing at my husband and laughing like it was the funniest thing he had ever seen which got my husband and I laughing. It amazes me when he thinks everyday occurances are such entertainment lol

  3. My oldest laughed for the very first time, when our dog was running around playing with a toy. I was so excited to hear her laugh! Not sure what it is, but animals seem to bring it out in them.

  4. I asked Johnny that exact question yesterday.  (What's so funny?)

I was in my mom's kitchen, making him lunch and he was in his exersaucer and kept looking over at me and was absolutely cracking up.  I wasn't doing anything except for singing him the Mickey Mouse song.  He kept laughing and laughing and laughing.  And then, I saw what was making him laugh - my stepdad was in the window behind me making silly faces at him, lol.  It took me like 5 minutes to actually figure it out though, lol

Oh, and Saturday night, my stepdad kept looking at Johnny and saying "Woohoo" and Johnny would just crack up... He had the hiccups for like 20 minutes that night, lol

  5. When my son laughs out loud it's usually at me, yes, at me!

Yesterday i was at my mom's house & i was 'chatting' with my son, i said boo-boo & he started laughing! so cute, i tell him boo-boo very often because that's my sister nickname & the only one he can 'say' but yesterday it was especially funny, i guess, babies are a mystery, but it was really really cute, you could hear his big laughs anywhere in the house, soon, my mom, dad, husband & sister were at the room with us & he just kept laughing at 'boo-boo'.

    God Bless

  6. my son and I were at my boyfriends house yesterday. We were playing that old Mario brothers game on Wii..you know the one where you can choose to be the princess, mushroom, mario or luigi. Anyway, if you remember you could make them squat to power up for a super jump. I said it looked like they were taking a p**p! he laughed so hard that he couldn't breathe!! I love those laughs..so darn contagious!! :)

oh he is four years old but still my baby!! :))

  7. my baby laughed like crazy yesterday when she saw me stumbled a chair but luckily saved by grabbing my husband's hair. as my husband started to scream in pain and i started to laugh at them, she laughed even more, just like your baby did =)

babies are simply adorable, arent they?

  8. Agreed, apparently dogs are hilarious.  Most of my son's first belly laughing experiences involved the dog.  Dog playing with his ball.  Dog sneezing.  Dog barking.  Husband sneezing/barking while pretending it was the dog.  Go figure!! :)

He loves all dogs, when we're out for a walk and see a dog, he always gets a huge grin on his face.
