  1. nothing great only injured all-rounder

  2. He is very useful all rounder for England. Just to give you some idea let me say that he is more to England than Yuvraj, Irfan, or Ganguli is to india.

  3. Nothing is great about him. He's just a good allrounder, thats all. And not the best either going round at the moment. Hes over payed, over hyped and over rated. Bating wise, Jacob Oram is a country mile a head of him as a batsmen and game winner.

  4. He in one of the best all-rounders in International cricket.

  5. NOTHING IS GREAT

  6. He is a good all rounder

  7. I agree with you 100%. The English commentators are passed their sell-by dates and should of left the game after they had finished playing. As for Freddy there are many better all-rounders who can come into the England team and do a better job, the England selectors have just gone with the name and not looked at form, shame on them. Fred hasn't been taking many wickets and his batting has been nothing better than number 11 form, hopefully the selectors will see sense and get him out!!

  8. Ah, there speaks a Yorkshire supporter.

  9. I have never seen him bat weel since I have starting watch cicket(2years). I didn't watch one ODI and he got 90. In ODI and 20 20'S he would be good because he tries to hit a boundery every ball. In Test cricket why is he rated so good. Pieterson is 50times better with the bat

  10. He has one good Ashes series in 2005 against Australia!! Now he's just over-rated!!

  11. Flintoff, when not injured, and when he is in good form, is both one of the best bowlers, and one of the best batsmen. He was a BEAST in the ashes in 2005.

He came 3rd in most runs scored (402)  for both teams behind KP (473) and Marcus Trescothick (431), and second in wickets taken (24), behind Shane Warne (40).

  12. Hes BAts and Bowls many times for his team to go through.. u r rite that he single handedly make impact.. i think this happens only one or two time in his batting/.. but hes good one who should be in the team

  13. the killing instinct.

  14. he likes beets

  15. he bat and bowl very well

  16. What are you on about more to the point? I don't remember anyone questioning Freddy's capabilities. He has had a long injury problem, but you can't hold that against him. He is a very handy all rounder, & i don't know any team who would say no to him when he's fit. It will take a while for him to get back in his stride after being out injured for so long, but that is to be expected. Just give him a chance to warm up again.

  17. To put it simply

Freddie Flintoff is one the greatest all-rounders of our generation.

    He is a match winner!

He can take the game away from you with bat & ball.

When he is at his best he is unstoppable! Look at the 2005 Ashes for example! in the 2nd test, Flintoff not only hit a match winning 60 with the bat, but he followed that up, with one of the greatest spells of bowling in the history of the game. He can not only put you in a good position with the bat, but he can then win you the game from the good position with the ball

How many all-rounders have you ever known who can bowl genuinely fast, and also smash the ball out of the park at will. Freddie lives for the big occasion! He can be England Mr Reliable! he will always give 100% to the cause!

Dont judge him on his performances yet! he is still not near his best! Give him time and you will see the real Freddie Flintoff

The commentators praise Fred, because they know what he is capable of! If you were English you would understand why he is great!

  18. Isn't he just back from a long injury lay off?  It's a very extraordinary cricketer who can just run back on the field after a long lay off and immediately hit tip top form.  Give it some time the guy *can* bat, bowl and field very well, just not a great captain ...
