What is so great about Twilight?

My sister , mom, and grandmother are OBSESSED with Twilight. And I would LOVE to know what is so great about it. Please no hate mail this is a serious question.

the first 3 in the series are AMAZING. there isnt much a moral or lesson to the story but to me its just kinda nice to think that love like that can exist (i no very lame considering its a fictional book)

but the last book was not as good.

but its just an easy fun story to read

absolutely nothing is great about it. the romance is the only think that makes it somewhat interesting and even that gets annoying eventually. it's really cheesy and cliche, but it's an okay read if you have nothing better to do with your time. ; )

it's awesome because it has everything people need. love adventure and massive danger. i have a love obsession with edward and i'm not afraid to say it. bella has exactly what i want in my life! i get really jealous when i think about it.

unlike most of he above, I hate Twilight. I think its c**p and there is no plot AND its horribly written. The characters are shallow and is not a good book at all. Its cheesy cliche and not original, but if you like that type of stuff, you might want to read it and judge for yourself.

Twilight is a very captivating book. But it does have its pros and cons.

Pros:

-Captivating

-Easy read

-About vampires which people find very interesting

-Does have a good storyline

-Romantic, just about all girls love that

-Characters have some endearing traits

Cons:

-Meyer destroyed the vampire for our generation by making her creatures stray horribly from the vampire lore. Her "Meyerpires" as they are called could more be described as fairies, fairies who sparkle in the sun and who diet on blood.

-It is NOT the best book in the world. There are other good books out there, don't forget them.

-Most fans believe the series are the only books in existence and believe Edward is perfect. (He wasn't, he has some faults, and that makes me glad for perfection is annoying)

I love the books. Couldn't put them down. I am not getting sick of seeing it on answers though. I suggest you read them! Just remember there are other books out there. Happy Reading!

Twilight is a great romance book but it has an adventurous side to it as well. I read the whole series (4 books) in like 3 weeks, which is very unusual for me since i hardly ever read. haha. You'll just have to read it to find out what's so great about it but I guarantee you'll be hooked by the time your done with the first chapter. The writing style as well as the characters are just so likeable yet real. Trust me, give it a try.
