What is so interesting about being a fisherman ?

I 'm a bouncer and bounce humans. Maybe them fisherman love sushi so much that they love to stay on the water and stuff.

Boring job if you ask me. I prefer the night club scene although i wouldn't mind a little SPA on the side.

Talk about a loaded question!

Some fisherman, including myself, aren't neccessarily there to catch fish. I go fishing for the same reason other people would go hiking. To me, there's nothing like a day on the flats in my kayak, whether I catch something or not. Mind you, the occasional redfish or sea trout doesn't hurt any, but I could catch nothing and have the greatest time in my life.

It's kinda odd, too, as I get bored easily otherwise (I'm a 28 year old restless child). Fishing, for some reason, is the exception.

the fun of being outdoors in the fresh air with some friends, or to just get awway from it all. the thrill of waiting so long and testing out different baits when you think you feel a tug on your line. the JOY you feel when you reel in that fish, big or small, its a sense of accomplishment.

There are different kinds of sports fishermen. Some look on fishing as a good way to get out of the house, enjoy the outdoors, breathe fresh air, and suck back a few beers. Some look at it as a challenge. Some are meat-hunters, some are after trophy-sized fish.

Commercial fishing is a whole 'nother world. That's a way to make a living and the most dangerous way of all. It makes logging look safe by comparison.
