Do they call it fine because of the money it takes for the education, or the ingredients, or what?

  1. they call it that just to make those who partake of it think they are special or somehow above the rest of us mere mortals.....

I can afford "fine" dining and clothes and shows and the like but even with my six figure salary you'll never catch me with that crowd

you're always going to have that elitest few who feel like they try to have to seperate themselves from those who they think they are better than.

at the end of the day, it's all over-priced and over-rated....give me a hamburger and fries and people that are real and have real lives any day of the week

the only thing "fine" about any of it is the fine line that seperates the real people from those who are so insecure about themselves and their lives that they have to put labels on everything to make them think they are somehow above the rest of us.

    i wouldn't p*iss on any of them

  2. the 'fine' is for the product, not the money you have to use to purchase it or to eat there.  like 'fine silk' is high quality silk - who buys it or how is not a part of the meaning.  so yeah, it's the quality, the ingredients, the setting, atmosphere, etc. of the place or product.
