i was watching that 70s show last night and leo(tommy chong) said they couldnt drink alchohol so they had to drink socky instead... what is sockey? and can i make it?

sake is rice wine you drink with sushi or other Japanese  food. have it served cool or warm and it is an  acquired taste...took me a while to learn how to enjoy it...but it is strong i don't suggest playing SAKE PONG with it like my hubby and his friends decided to do..they all got pretty sick!
