Soft skills are intrapersonal and interpersonal skills that determine a person's ability to excel or at least fit in a particular social structure, such as a project team, a company or even a jazz quartet. These skills include competencies in areas such as Emotional Intelligence, communication, leadership ability, etiquette, conflict resolution, decision making, self-motivation, self-discipline, self-advocacy, persuasion, etc.


  2. Soft skills is a sociological term which refers to the cluster of personality traits, social graces, facility with language, personal habits, friendliness, and optimism that mark people to varying degrees. Soft skills complement hard skills, which are the technical requirements of a job.

    Some examples of soft skills:

    Personal Qualities:

        * responsibility,

        * self-esteem,

        * sociability,

        * self-management,

        * integrity/honesty.

    Interpersonal Skills

        * Participates as a member of the Team

        * Teaches others

        * Serves Client / Customers

        * Exercises Leadership

        * Negotiates

        * Works with cultural diversity

    (To sum it up, you're personable, easy to get along with, mature, and able to cope with day to day life)

  3. i go to a school called Youngstown Early College and last year when i was a freshman in order to be allowed to take any college classes we had to pass what was called soft skills

    which was proving that we were mature and ready to handle college classes
