What is something Easy to cook when you are on the run,other than Hamburger Helper?

Or tuna helper....just don't have lot's of time to cook or to tired.

    salad ingerdents plus cooked chicken breast, ready in 10 mins and tasty as well as good for you.

    2-4 boneless, skinless chicken b*****s

    jar of spaghetti sauce

    mozzarella cheese

    pasta

    place chicken b*****s in casserole dish. cover with spaghetti sauce and cheese. Cover and bake at 425 degrees for 20-25 minutes until chicken is done. Serve with pasta.

    Soup put in a bowl microwave till hot

    anything in a can that is ready to eat just needs to be heated

  5. Sometimes, I make "breakfast" for dinner.  Scrambled eggs or a nice omelet or pancakes.  Or make a grilled cheese (or ham and cheese) sandwich.  Or cook more on the weekend and then use the "planned overs" during the week.

  6. Cook some basic things when you do have time.  Invest a couple of hours on a day off and your payoff is healthy quick meals during the week. Cook up a brown rice for the week. Some of the quick cooking brown rice is pretty tasty. Put the cooked rice in a container in the fridge. Make a pot of soup, stew or chili. Marinate and grill chicken b*****s. Put it in the fridge. Have on hand bagged frozen veggies, various types of canned beans, bagged salad.

    Now, during the week, take out the rice and chicken and heat. Add some salad or some cooked vegetables on the side. Or start with a plate of salad, add chopped chicken and some rinsed drained beans and bottled dressing. Or start with a bowl with rice, ladle on some of the chili and heat. Etc...

    A bit of prep beforehand can make all the difference.

    But to answer your question, if I need a quick, no fuss meal: Pancakes, farina, oatmeal, eggs. Or jarred spaghetti sauce over pasta. Grilled cheese and fruit. tuna melts. noodles with sauteed onions and whatever other vegetables on hand with a can of diced or stewed tomatoes mixed in and parmesan cheese sprinkled on top...
