What is something I can do this summer that will help the enviroment?

Driving your car less and turning out the lights in rooms that you aren't in. There are many things you can do to help our enviroment. You could also plant a tree as well.

recycle, grow a three, try not to use allot of electricity, clean your park you can do allot of things!! good luck!!

Save Gas - do as many errands in 1 trip, walk or bike,

Plant Plantation - helps purify the air (site see Air Purification)

Recylce - ckeck local recycling company for which you can recylce, usually 1's and 2's

Save Water - collect the water from the drown spout (and use else where), take shorter showers

Cool Off - Go to a local pool or similar place and save electricity

Shopping - reuse your paper or plastic bags from previous trips

-turn the ac on 2 degrees lower, or not turn it on at all

-turn off all the lights you dont use and take the advanatage of the late sunlight and eat dinner outside

-walk to almost everywhere you need to go

-use cloth towels instead of paper ones

write to your local mp urging him/her to pass Eco friendly laws in Parliament a good website is friends of the earth they have lots of tips on helping the environment also look at guardian / environment brilliant website

It might seem less fulfilling but writing letters to your politicians is really the best way to help save the environment. for more hands on ideas you can organize demonstrations or even just groups of people to clean up trash.
