I live in Melbourne Australia!!!

We have the melbourne cup a horse race which is a holiday for most and i say most Australian`s!!!

A horse race a day off????

What do you have so some other people can see!!!!!!!!!

    Cars For Kids, dragster ran over pedestrians, killing several children

    Mary Winkler, the preacher's wife who shot him in the back and spent only 6 months in jail

    Both events recent and widely publicized

    notorious for its changeable weather conditions!  It's colder than any other Australian states during winter.

    My suburb or area is famous for the crime levels lol.

    We held the Commonwealth games one year.

    Indy car motor race. American version of formula one on Gold Coast.

I live in a  suburb where there is not really  much, so there is the nearest big city, Chicago.  Famous for blues, food, shopping, sports, go bulls, go bears, go blackhawks.  There is a ton of stuff to do there, it is also getting famous for gangbangers who can't stop shooting high school kids, corruption, highest taxes in usa, politicians who would rather lose public trust than get along and pass good laws, and of course, the weather.

  8. Bath, Ohio- USA.  The most imfamous serial killer (jeff dahmer) of modern times grew up here.  What a claim to fame, huh?

  9. I live in Perth and at the moment I still can't figure out what's famous about this place,it's boring,I know that much.

    Has the West Coast Eagles- I think the whole of Australia knows who they are now.

  10. I'm in Cairns, North Queensland - although it's the area I am referring too, it's most famous for 'Gateway to the Great Barrier Reef', the Marlin fishing, tropical rain forests - a very touristy place.... oh and the crocs sunbaking on our local beaches  LOL...

  13. Although I live in a suburb I'll name some famous facts about the nearest city which is Raleigh.

    It's the capital of North Carolina

    One of the top best cities in the US to live and work.

    Clay Aiken is from here

    Andrew Johnson was born here

    We have a state government complex

    For tourists, there isn't much but we have a fairgrounds, museum for science, museum for state history, a state park with hiking, camping, etc.
