  1. if you use any type of powder on your skin right before waxing..(even baby powder).....it will help you not to pull the first tiny layer of skin off along with the unwanted hairs.....try it...it doesn't sting as bad....it can actually be applied pretty thickly.....the hair won't latch onto the powder like the skin does..the skin will be under the powder and not be stripped by the wax...just the hairs. .

    then wax....

after waxing, have an ice cube under a wet cloth or a cold pack used for sports injuries...or even a pack of frozen vegetables....ready and close by....and stick it right to the area you waxed after waxing.....it will decrease the puffiness you get also sometimes.....And it will help you not to rub that area like you might feel like doing after waxing because you just tore skin off...the rubbing turns it even redder

.....The ice numbs it....you could even numb the spot a little BEFORE waxing so it doesn't feel the sting so badly.

And finally, after waxing and rubbing an icepack or something on it till the sting stops....apply baby oil, lotion (-non perfumed lotion that is......)....or aloe gel to the area...

DO NOT APPLY FOUNDATION MAKEUP TO HIDE THE REDNESS.....YOU WILL DEPOSIT MAKEUP RIGHT INTO YOUR OPEN PORES...AND RAW EXPOSED LAYER OF SKIN DUE TO REMOVING THE OUTER LAYER...THIS WILL MOST LIKELY LEAD TO BLACKHEADS AND/OR PIMPLES !!!!!!!!!

Use warm, runny wax, but NOT HOT....HOT wax...that will def make you red !!!!!

and do not decide you missed a hair or two, and re-wax that spot a 2nd time ...this will leave a scab.....literally as big as the strip of wax you applied the second time..because you tore the 2nd layer of skin off.....just pluck the missed hairs with tweezers

I think that's all the help I can think of !!!!!! good luck!!!

  2. aloe vera or tea tree oil

  3. usually they put a type of gel on after they wax your eyebrows. im not sure its usually different everywhere. but try sensative skin lotion.

  4. I have always gotten my eyebrows waxed and loved it but hated the redness.  I really think you should look into getting your eyebrows threaded.  It is excellent and there is absolutely no redness to go along with it.  You also don't have to go back to the salon as frequently as you do with eyebrow waxing and this literally takes about 2 minutes.  I would definitely look into it. went a few months ago and am hooked.
