  2. some mushy pop songs, not cool to like them, but some do....

  3. Seeing others fail.

    For example - a work colleague who doesn't get that promotion, but everyone will rally around him/her telling them how sorry they are, when in the back of their mind they take pleasure from it.

    I think it comes down to envy and jealousy.
