Bob was a jerk to rookies early but he would respect you as you went on. I remember he had Parent as his avatar. NIPS had some Flyer goalie I think Lindeberg on his mask. Chris still had his 1st account

Well I'm not really that old but I would have to say when the USA Olympic hockey team beat the Soviets against all odds. I love the story of it, I just think it really is the defination of a "Miracle" as Al Michaels asked during that game "Do you believe in Miracles?"

I remember being surprised when I actually realized the Sabres fans didn't hate me - that they were actually quite nice and discovering Caniacs and Sabres fans could actually live in a world of harmony... *break out the middle-of-the-street sing and dance musical here*

I also remember a certain question NIPS asked about nudists and their turn-ons, revealing to me just how nutty these folks are (and what a perfect environment that is for my near-insane brain)

Worst memory - when I was a n00b on the hockey section, I didn't realize how cool and humorous everyone was.  So once someone was joking around and said that the Devils should give Brodeur a night off and I actually said, (yes I actually said) "The thing is, Brodeur actually likes playing all the games!"

i am so embarrassed.
