I just signed a petition against animal testing which is something I've always felt strongly about that should be outlawed for once and for all because unlike us humans, some animals don't have a voice to stand up and retaliate against such sadistic behaviour and the ones that do their cries are just drained out while the torture begins.

People like that make me sick to be a fellow human and I know a petition won't fully end this cruelty because the world isn't fair like that is it?

Hopefully one day and in my life time it will end.

Their was another time when I proved straight to someone ignorant on Y!A who thought animals have no feelings by telling them a true story about some zoo in america ( I think ) of where a young boy fell in a Gorilla enclosure and was knocked unconscious.

A huge Gorilla went up to the boy and then started protecting the still unconscious child from his fellow kind like the child was his own until the medics came.

  1. The other day an Asian(old) man was about to use the boys toilet at my children's school and even though there is a sign written in Chinese for those who do not understand English,he was still about to go in.I was watching him, waiting to see what he was going to do and as soon as I saw him about to walk in ,I got so angry that i told him in a loud and firm voice that he was not allowed to use the toilet, that it was for the children ,so he didn't.

  2. I've done nothing today to make me feel proud, quite the opposite

  3. Hi,

I do a lot for my local community and this week we held a fund-raising event which took a lot of time and effort to organise. In the one evening we made over a thousand pounds. I'd been so nervous about it all going smoothly and yet it was a huge success. Everyone had fun. A small team of people worked really hard to make it a success and I feel really good about it.

    Pollyanna

  4. I talked and laughed with my crush. ahh, im so happy

  5. I've signed up to be a regular blood donor.

It really is something that more people need to do, and it can so easily be fitted in around work these days.

  6. I paid off one loan in full . . . only to immediately take out another loan. @__@

    *bwa-bwa-bwaaaaa trumpet sound*

  7. I found out that someone had been disrespectful behind my back and I did nothing about it...

That made me feel proud because I was not such a small person that I needed to make a big deal out of it... I just let them believe that I was none-the-wiser.

Now, if maybe someday this person is trying to convince me to do something for them, I will feel more comfortable turning them down politely.

  8. I have a grandmother with alzheimers and the family isn't doing anything about it. I went to see her and it was weird. She kept saying the same conversation over and over again to me. Instead of letting it bother me (which it did) I just played along and didn't tell her I felt like she was living in the movie Ground Hog Day.

I put her feelings above my own.

    For that, I'm proud.
