  1. Tip a dancer a 5 spot. single mother's need cash too

  2. www.compassion.com

its an organization and what you do is choose a child from any country, you can pick age and gender and even names pretty much. you give 40 dollars a month and it helps the impoverished child and their family.

i have a compassion child from kenya named faith.

  3. Mentor, share life experience and know how.  Volunteer, be willing to help others instead of just yourself.

  4. Poverty is generally a symptom of something else. If you merely treat symptoms, you will have as temporary impact as an aspirin has on a migraine. At least in the US, you are extremely unlikely to live in poverty if you:

    a. Finish high school

    b. Work at a job -- any job

    c. Get married and have children -- in that order

Reducing poverty would involve attacking the things that prevent or incent people from following those rules.
