  1. cleaning my bedroom was the worst. I always tried to tell my mom that it didn't matter, that it was just going to get in a mess again. I figured out that it didn't work, so I finally stopped giving her problems about it. Now my oldest daughter says the same thing to me, so I just tell her that it didn't work when I was little, so it won't work with her either.

  2. Staying up late. (past my bedtime)

  3. Oh, yeah. My mom kept goodies on the top shelf of the cupboard. One day when she wasn't in the kitchen with me,  I climbed up the drawers to stand on the counter so I could reach to the top. At 4, I wasn't quite tall enough, and what I could reach turned out to be a glass bottle of oil that crashed down onto the tile surface, brought my mom running into the kitchen, and made a HUGE mess. You may laugh, but my mom sure didn't!

  4. I was a manipulator.  I tried to convince my parents to move me into the bigger room even though no one would be in it with me and my two brothers had to share.  I kept on saying how I kept bumping into stuff because there wasn't enough room for me to walk around.  One day I got a huge bruise from bumping into my brothers' wooden bunk beds.  I ran screaming down the stairs to my mom saying, "See I told you my room was too little.  I fell on the corner of the toy box because the big dumb doll house was in the way!"  I almost had her until my brother came downstairs a few hours later and saw ice on my leg. He said, "That's what you get for jumping from the top bunk."  I could murder him.
