  1. first you have the word completely misspelled.  It is Sovereignty.  I believe #3and #4 will make it clearer.  Websters Dictionary on-line is great for this stuff.

sov·er·eign·ty      /ˈsɒvrɪnti, ˈsʌv-/ Pronunciation Key - Show Spelled Pronunciation[sov-rin-tee, suhv-] Pronunciation Key - Show IPA Pronunciation

    –noun, plural -ties.

    1. the quality or state of being sovereign.

    2. the status, dominion, power, or authority of a sovereign; royalty.

    3. supreme and independent power or authority in government as possessed or claimed by a state or community.

    4. rightful status, independence, or prerogative.

    5. a sovereign state, community, or political unit.

A nation or state's supreme power within its borders. A government might respond, for example, to criticism from foreign governments of its treatment of its own citizens by citing its rights of sovereignty.

  2. An Example is that since 1789 we became a sovern nation , due to the fact we were no longer ruled by England.

  3. The USA has sovereignty over the rest of the world.

It means it is the supreme power!

    Why?

    Because someone has to be!

The most important project for the world community this millenium, will be to try and colonize Mars...That is, if we hope to have our species survive, any, and all future cataclysms!

  4. Brandon,

Are you referring to citizenship, nationality, ethnicity, race, gender? A sovern is a person that has all rights and benefits given to a person by the State (USA). A felon is not a sovern because he/she can not hold office nor vote.
