  1. The specific rate constant is a constant quantity which must

    be multiplied with concentration of the reactants to get the velocity of a chemical reaction. i.e.

    Rate =K[R]^n


  2. Specific rate constant is "K"; each set of data, when divided, would equal the same number, or K.  I hope this doesn't confuse you.
