What is straddles lane?

i took my alberta drivers road exam and i failed

unfortunately, and one of the areas i lost alot of points was something called straddles lane

what exactly does that mean?

Stay in the appropriate lane. Do not weave back and forth between lanes, straddle two lanes.

That means that you were "straddling lanes", ie you did not drive the car between the lanes painted on the road, but rather OVER then to some extent, thereby putting yourself (and anyone in those other lanes) in quite a lot of potential peril!
