Strategy: an elaborate scheme or plan of action.

To be strategically minded you need to be logical and goal-oriented. You will also need to understand the rules by which the game (everything is a game) follows, and the possible moves your opponent might make to further his goals, while hindering yours.

Play Chess and Sudoku.
