  1. Vicodin is a combination of acetaminophen (Tylenol) and hydrocodone. Percocet is a combination of oxycodone and acetamenophen. On a milligram-for-milligram basis, oxycodone is stronger. But you gave the dose of acetaminophen, not the dose of narcotic, in each, so we can't answer.

  2. both equally good

  3. You are only providing the dose of the acetaminophen in each tablet with your question, as these are both combination drugs.

They are both equally effective in terms of dosing and bioavailability (unless you can provide the specific concentration of the active ingredient in each tablet.)

Vicodin is hydrocodone, and Percocet is oxycodone. Both also contain acetaminophen (Tylenol, paracetamol) as an added non-narcotic pain killer. A tablet can have a dose of 5-20 mg of the active ingredient (oxycodone or hydrocodone) combined with 325-500 mg of the acetaminophen.  Technically, the vicodin you quoted has more acetaminophen (500 mg versus 325mg), so it would be 'stronger' but that would be irrelevant if you gave us the dose of the hydrocodone versus the dose of the oxycodone in each tablet.

Both are semi-synthetic derivatives of opium.

  4. In my opinion, Vicodin is stronger than Percocet.

  5. Well, the only dosage you gave us is the tylonal.  Obviously 500mg of tylonal is more than 325 mg of tylonal.

Vicodin is a direvative of codiene (theibiene and tylonal apap)

    Percocet is oxycodone and apap.

Two totally different meds.  They are both opiates, but different opiates.
